Rerelease of Music Vid // Album

In time for tax day, an edited version of my version of Marie Antoinette’s anthem for taxing the rich will debut on YouTube on April 8th. We chopped the intro - which is artsy and wonderful yet thoughtful - and cut right to the parody of Crystal Water’s “Gypsy Woman.”

I have a love it/hate it relationship with the video posting platforms. It’s great that I can reach people I don’t know but it also has algorithms that favor the generic. So I like giving a project a cut for art and then a cut for the internet gods. Neither of us are happy about it but this is what one calls algorithmic compromise.
