Success, Failure, and Writing // Reconcile the Aisle Podcast

I’m my own worst enemy. It helps to talk to other writers and find out — we all are!

So far I’ve interviewed 25 people for the second season of my podcast Reconcile the Aisle. Most of these conversations were with media creators. A common theme, no matter the amount of awards, accolades, or credits, is that self doubt and the knowledge that what we do is hard. To be good at it is hard, to succeed even harder. It’s a lonely journey, but a worthwhile one — sometimes. And even more trying is that we have no idea where it’s going.

So if you’re a creator and you’re feeling crazy you’re not alone! Here are two recent interviews that delve more into this topic including: defining success, dealing with competition, and creating without apology.
