Over the pandemic I interviewed a TON of creative folks about their process making art + change in the world. Themes emerged. One of those was: how to frame your life so that you can make space to do the work that you want to do.

In my conversation with the filmmaker Onir and the producer/writer Ross Buran, we specifically tackled these topics. There’s no one right way to make a creative life and there’s no set of guidelines about how to do it. Everyone has their own way. Here are their respective ways.

You’ll also hear Onir speak about his experience as a gay filmmaker in India and creating stories that transcend boundaries. Ross Buran covers balancing money vs. passion gigs and how to balance being an actor and a producer, sometimes at the same time.
