Melania: Live or Die? Next Steps

Melania is almost out of the White House, so where does that leave my impression?

I get asked this a lot.

The reality is that I won’t know that she’s irrelevant until she is. There will be a moment when any joke or a video about her will fall flat onto the surface of social media without so much as a blip.

Melania is trying to push that moment further into the future. She’s apparently in talks to pen (meaning to pay someone else to pen) a memoir about her time in the White House. I’d like to think this is her revenge for my humor book.

So while we wait for the First Lady to finish pretending that she wrote a book, subsequently disappearing into the sunset, we’re squeezing in all the fun that the First Family can provide. They led us into four years of terror, so to compensate we’re going to create as many laughs as we can.
