Two Rehearsal MUST HAVES: Behind the Scenes of The Melania Trump Road Show
Producing a national tour is no small task. There is endless coordination and not to mention rehearsal time.
My co-producer Jesse Sneddon and I recently jumped on IGLIVE to give our secrets to a good rehearsal. I’ll give you the deets here.
For Jesse: It’s coffee. We drink at least a pot per rehearsal. For some reason every time I do a show I drink copious amounts of coffee.
For me: It’s the wig. How can I be Melania without the tresses? Mine own are short and somewhat in a quaff, sticking up at off angles. Throwing on that wig calms my energy so I can properly do the cantor and the squint.
With enough coffee and wig time, we’ll be on the road without a hitch. We’re going to 26+ cities with 30+ shows. It’s going to take us 6 weeks to go the full distance.
That’s going to take a lot of coffee.
We’ll be in NYC at The Tank for four nights in March (14th, 19th, 20th, and 21st) before we push off in May and June.
