Ancestry Dot Comedy: Time Out New York WEEKEND PICK!

For the past year I’ve been conceptualizing and testing out a variety show inspired by commercial DNA tests. I produced it in full both in NYC and Florida, and have been testing out bits in smaller shows. On Saturday my co-conspirators and I are running the show in NYC at Parkside Lounge under a new name - Ancestry Dot Comedy. It’s about belonging, identity, and what makes family and features some of the funniest people in NYC.

When putting it together I knew it was super nerdy. I didn’t know if it would resonate. And to my delight - Time Out New York listed as a pick for this weekend! It’s an honor! All of my mentor have always told me: just put out what you want to create and people will come when the message is right. I’ve been following that philosophy in creating new show formats nd here we are!
