It Comes Down to Fun // Reconcile the Aisle

For season 2 of my podcast Reconcile the Aisle I’ve interviewed over 35 creatives working in all aspects of show business: from producing, to directing, to production, to post-production, and of course, performing.

Every single on of them - Every. Single. One. - says two things:

1) Rejection is part of the life we chose. And the life we chose is crazy.

2) Sticking true to your creative vision is how to stay sane.

Sometimes people take projects that aren’t their “love” but everyone I spoke makes time for projects that they’re passionate about.

It’s the only way!

My interviews with Gideon Evans (Daily Show, Comedy Central, President Show) and Fred Raimondi (Borat: Subsequent, Stranger Things, Star Trek) were no exception.

They’ve carved out diverse careers that have allowed them to grow and also to be a part of projects they’re passionate about.

I’m starting to see this may be the only way to do it.
