Yule Log With Friends is this nutty internet video project of mine that’s three years running.

The concept: Each of my characters spends time next to a yule log. It’s an intimate moment in time. It’s funny and sad and sometimes both. Most importantly, it’s a bit of presence in our world of distraction.

With COVID lockdown these videos took on another meeting. Instead of a sometimes-isolating world we are now literally distancing ourselves from social interaction. Yule Log With Friends is a salve for these difficult moments. It won’t make everything better but it can make your day a tiny bit more bearable.
